Las Vegas billionaire Steve Wynn definitely has something new to be keyed up about this Christmas season. Investing nearly $2.3 billion, the eye-catching hotel and casino named Encore will be open to the public very soon.

This deluxe hotel-casino is joined to the tremendously popular Wynn Las Vegas on the LV Strip. As tons of Vegas casino-hotel proprietors are trying to discover a way to keep their hotels open, Wynn is flying high with his $billion property investments.

This 2,000 room casino-hotel is a great addition to the Wynn Las Vegas. The showpiece of this casino-hotel will be the nightclub, named XS. Wynn has noticed a trend in the last few years that nightclubs are a huge attraction in Las Vegas, Nevada, and not necessarily the casino-hotels like they have been in the past. Wynn states that Sin City nightclubs typically produce more riches and are a big meeting spot for the young and hip crowd.

He has also built a lush eatery next to the XS nightclub. Named after the well-known Colombian painter, Fernando Botero this circular restaurant has a massive Botero statue as the focal point. Although not spectacular as the nightclub which it is adjacent to; the Botero steakhouse is intended to harmonize pretty well with the flamboyant Las Vegas nightclub.
The plan behind XS and Botero is a type of St. Tropez ambiance, where the celebration goes on 24 hours a day and the majority of the partying happens next to a swimming pool or ocean area. Times are a changin’ in LV, where people would rather partying to slot machines these days.

Along with the enormous success of the Tao nightclub at the Venetian Resort Casino, the owners of this Sin City nightclub are unveiling a brand new Roman/Mediterranean type restaurant called Lavo located in the Palazzo hotel resort. This radical idea is inspired by the Roman bathhouses of long-ago. A lot of effort has been put into the historical accuracy of this Vegas nightclub/restaurant and into the tiny details as well.

This restaurant/nightclub can seat 300 people and includes a menu chock full of Mediterranean food. Their menu is designed to encourage the sharing of appetizers and small servings, as opposed to large one-person plates. The restaurant segment also has an outdoor terrace which can seat 100 guests and overlooks the renowned Las Vegas Strip.

The nightclub section features a state of the art audio and video system while live DJs will be on hand to keep the crowd entertained. The nightclub is open six nights a week opening its doors at 10:00 pm and closing about 5 am. What the club lacks is a VIP area, to this the creators say is to have a more communal atmosphere.

Lavo always has lots of eye candy for the visitors (especially the male guests). There is a model continuously bathing herself in the restaurant, female dancers, and other models acting out different historical scenarios. On the balcony, you will find a reserve of hookahs with a “hookah master” helping you make the best decision.

This restaurant/nightclub is led by the same group that inaugurated Tao Las Vegas in the Venetian Casino Hotel in 2005. Ever since the launch of this nightclub it has been one of the hottest clubs in Vegas, visited mostly by celebrities. Along with the Tao Asian Bistro and Tao Beach, these have been the highest grossing destinations in the U.S. since 2006. This new restaurant nightclub will be an incredible addition for The Palazzo Las Vegas. It already has 3000 luxury suites, the best shopping stores, and Sin City’s finest restaurants and entertainment.
