Las Vegas billionaire Steve Wynn definitely has something new to be keyed up about this Christmas season. Investing nearly $2.3 billion, the eye-catching hotel and casino named Encore will be open to the public very soon.

This deluxe hotel-casino is joined to the tremendously popular Wynn Las Vegas on the LV Strip. As tons of Vegas casino-hotel proprietors are trying to discover a way to keep their hotels open, Wynn is flying high with his $billion property investments.

This 2,000 room casino-hotel is a great addition to the Wynn Las Vegas. The showpiece of this casino-hotel will be the nightclub, named XS. Wynn has noticed a trend in the last few years that nightclubs are a huge attraction in Las Vegas, Nevada, and not necessarily the casino-hotels like they have been in the past. Wynn states that Sin City nightclubs typically produce more riches and are a big meeting spot for the young and hip crowd.

He has also built a lush eatery next to the XS nightclub. Named after the well-known Colombian painter, Fernando Botero this circular restaurant has a massive Botero statue as the focal point. Although not spectacular as the nightclub which it is adjacent to; the Botero steakhouse is intended to harmonize pretty well with the flamboyant Las Vegas nightclub.
The plan behind XS and Botero is a type of St. Tropez ambiance, where the celebration goes on 24 hours a day and the majority of the partying happens next to a swimming pool or ocean area. Times are a changin’ in LV, where people would rather partying to slot machines these days.

With almost one year of no activity, the Mirage Megaresort’s famed volcano will be brought to life larger and more impressive than in the past. The popular LV casino and hotel is bringing out their best to draw as many visitors as feasible to take a look at their transformation.

This New Year’s Eve, the stuntman and daredevil Robbie Knievel will try a motorcycle jump over the Mirage Hotel’s manmade volcano. This jump will mark the conclusion of a 3-year redecoration of the Sin City casino and hotel. Over this period, the Vegas hotel and casino has spent around $110 million upgrading their accommodations and suites.

This New Year’s Eve act is scheduled to be Knievel’s last act in the United States. The act will carry on for 5 minutes and present fireworks and a high-tech music soundtrack. The music for the presentation has been written by former Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. Robbie Knievel is the son of the deceased Evil Knievel-the first and most renowned daredevils.

The LV Mirage was constructed in 1989 by Vegas industrialist Steve Wynn and was deemed as Vegas’ 1st megaresort. This reconstruction is one of a set of hotels on the Sin City Strip in the past year. This hotel and casino hopes that this show will invite a big number of tourists to the Las Vegas casino. The idea behind the upgrade is to surpass other famous Vegas hotel-casinos like the Bellagio hotel and casino.
